Designed and sculpted by United States Mint Sculptor/Engraver John Mercanti, Lady Liberty again graces the obverse of the American Eagle Platinum Proof Coin in 2005.
Engraved by United States Mint sculptor/engraver Donna Weaver, the reverse of the 2005 American Eagle Platinum Proof Coin depicts an American bald eagle perched upon a heraldic shield surrounded by symbols that represents America’s strength and beauty.
